| Rules for Clips Ahoy/Free Clip
Art Island Ranking List: 1. Send as much traffic as you can without falsely inflating your numbers in any way. The more traffic you send, the higher you are listed, and the more traffic you get in return. 2. Your site and title must be appropriate and your title should be your url, or a name your site commonly goes by. We may change your name if we feel that it is not your title. By appropriate site, I am referring to no porn, racist, illegal etc, and should be suitable for a 'G' rated audience. We also check if there is any links to inappropriate sites. So if we go to your site and you are popping boomerank and we see a bunch of x rated sites on their list, then your site is not family orientated. 3. We reserve the right to refuse any site, remove from our list, and change a name, URL, or description in our list without explanation or warning. 4. You must have a valid email address, and if you use a pop up window to us, it must be at least 600x400 with scrollbars enabled. 5. This is a link exchange, there is no cost for joining. 6. If your site doesn't appear on the list after approval, you may not have sent any traffic since the last reset, or you have to wait for the first rerank after you send your first hit in. 7. How do you link to us?--When you sign up an email is sent automatically with the link url you should use. It looks something like this: http://www.clipsahoy.com/cgi-bin/AutoRank/rankem.cgi?action=in&id=corey Where corey would be your site id. If you are a content site, your efforts will be rewarded based on your position by a button above the ranking list. Top 8 Spots get placed with a 88x31 button if available. A frame link is created for regular top senders. Anyone on the first page of the ranking list can be site of the moment for a while. It doesn't take a lot of traffic to make the first page, so site of the moment is certainly worth an extra push. Our offsite popup is used as sparily as possible for sites, it is used mostly for Ranking lists and sites with entry pages and only occasionally for other sites to suppliment traffic. This means higher quality traffic for your site as people choose to go to your page. We try to keep all trades reasonable with this quality traffic and if you don't find your traffic to be even or better, it is generally close. You can use text links, "Free Clip Art Island" is preferred, or button or banners from our link to us page. You must download our button or banner to your server, do not link directly.
