6. Question of the Week

Q: How the &%#& does one get to download free clipart? Every %$&& thing I click on takes me to another clipart page and again to another.

A: Our apologies to any clipart users that feel the same way as this person. Many of the clipart sites out there intentionally hide their clipart if they have any at all. For those reading our newsletter, you probably know that is not the case for our site. Art is our main priority and when you work as hard as we do, you certainly would not want to hide it!

This question was directed more at the clipart community rather than specifically our site. As every site is different, we can only speak for our sites on finding clipart. Here is an explanation on how to find clipart on our sites:

Clipsahoy.com and freeclipartisland.com:
Look for a heading to the extent of 'free clipart categories' and pick a main category from the list. Try Animals for example. On the next page, under the green bar, select a subcategoy. Try Dogs for example. On the next page, pick what page number you would like to see. Try 'page 1'. You will now see thumbnail images which you may download. If you need larger images for your project, then click on the clipart, and a full size image will come up which you can download.

While our collection is quite sizeable, there are hundreds of additional images on our member site http://www.Clipartisland.com. You can find the images by logging in, entering the gallery and typing in the search tool what you are looking for. Thumbnails are immediately presented. If you decide to look through the categories, you would select the main category and then a subcategory. There is no need to select a page number as the thumbnails are presented immediately after picking the subcategory. The newest images are always first.
