Every time I close one another one or two browsers comes up with more links to links. Seems everyone has links to no where. The one place I found had clips worse than I can draw. What's the purpose of your site? Ad money? A: I can feel for you, as navigating through clipart sites can be quite a pop up festival. Many clipart sites out there are links to links, and very frustrating. Many of these sites open new browser windows referring other sites, which in turn do the same. We feel we are different. Our site, which is not the same site as the ones you have come from, has a security page. If you remember seeing it, says something about 'finally a site with actual clipart'. This page only shows up when coming from other clipart websites. What it does is give you the opportunity to close that window without a pop up. Once you enter past the security page and close our site, you will be referred to 1 clipart related site. This is done under the assumption that you are done looking at our collection, and perhaps would consider looking at someone else's clipart. Some sites do much more popping than that, but we feel that this minimal popping keeps us competative in an internet world where pop ups are the norm, without being excessive. With the commoness of pop ups, it is possible that our random referral could give you another website that does not provide the courtesy of a security page, and pops another site as you close them. We apologise if WE caused any inconvience, but what other web sites do is beyond our control. We have provided the alternative url of http://www.FreeClipArtIsland.com which has no referals to clipart sites when closing. If you don't like our style of art, check out our link directory which has direction on how to get though the sea of links on other sites to their clipart. In fact, I would say that most of the other sites out there don't care about anything but money. Our purpose is to provide clipart, ad money is important but not our primary focus. We pay a lot of money to provide clipart to you, and spend a lot of time doing it. This is what makes ad money important as there is no site if we can't pay our bills. If our primary focus was ad money, we would certainly try to cut costs by making the clipart harder to find(thus saving bandwidth), and have more pop up campaigns. As you will notice we do what we have to but have really kept this to a minimum, and the clipart is very easy to find. BTW the pop up referring another clipart site does not make money, it is there because this assists in helping people find us. ----------------------------------------------- Please feel free to submit your site if you are using
