5. Question of the Week

Q: How do I find Clipart on your site?

A: Yes this was a question, so for those of you having problems finding clipart on our site I will give an example. Follow through the example, then click 'back to main' and follow through the procedure using the categories that would apply to what you are looking for. On the main page of clipsahoy.com or freeclipartisland.com, on the left hand side a little down the page there is a section called 'Ahoy! Main Categories'. We will use the category map, underneath the Ahoy! there are several main categories like animals, animations, etc. Along with those is a link to the category map. Click on it. The next screen is a list with a link to all the main categories and a list of their subcategories listed underneath. We notice that bears is listed underneath Animals, so let's click on the underlined Animals. The next screen says 'Animals clipart' and lists several subcategories. Let's select 'Bears', click there. The next screen says 'Bears' and lists page 1 page 2. We have never been to bears before, so we will select page 1. You will see 'Bears Page 1' and underneath some thumbnail images of bears. If you want to look at the next page, click 'next page', if you want to download your favorite bear, click on it, then you will see the large image of the bear. Once you see the large image of the bear, right click and select save as and remember where you put it.

8. Final Notes

Details of our monthly draw: FREE MONEY FROM CLIPS AHOY! We have a monthly draw in which we give away $20 to an active subscriber. Why? Because we appreciate the interest you show in our work by being a subscriber. The rules are as follows: We take everyone who subscribed to our newsletter and we draw a name. We throw the name out if it is a blank(so make sure that if you didn't submit your name when you subscribed, then email us your name and email address) We list the name in the newsletter as a winner and ask them to email their postal address. The winner should email us with the same email that they get their newsletter. The best way to do this is press your reply button and then tell us you are the winner and your mailing address is..... If they email us before we release the next newsletter, then we mail them a check or money order. We are not responsible any mail related, email or postal, problem regarding you winning. If the winner responds and their subscription is listed as inactive then they are not eligible. You are listed as inactive if you unsubscribed or we removed you from the mailing list. If you notice that you are not recieving your weekly newsletter all of a sudden, it is possible that you were turned inactive because of an email problem. Ie. Our newsletter mailer indicates that your email bounced back to us. You may want to contact us to reactivate. If the winner does not contact us before the next newsletter is released then we draw another name, and start the process over. The new name is now referred to as current winner and the same conditions apply. If we draw every newsletter and the monthly draw overlaps, then $20 is added and the prize is higher until it is won. If three monthly draws overlap, the prize is 3x$20 for one winner. The new draw is always the first newsletter of the month. Winners are reentered and are eligible as long as they are an active subscriber.
