Our apologies to anyone who got multiple copies or no copy, some server problems occured during the mailings. As we all know, computer problems happen to everyone once in a while. Final Notes --------------------------------- 1. Site News Free Money from Clips Ahoy! We have a monthly draw in which we draw a name from our active subscribers. Why? Because we appreciate your interest in our site. Active subscriber is the key word though, if we draw someone that is listed as unsubscibed we have to draw again. If the winner doesn't notify us of their address before the newsletter after they are announced, we will throw them back into the hat and announce someone else in the next newsletter. Draw is the first newsletter of each month. You should note that we are not publicly displaying the win $20 note at this time, but that we still doing the draw. Question of the Week Q: (after getting a more details question from us on a request) Don't you know what a cork is? The thing on a bottle of wine? Ask any little kid, and they will tell you. A: There are often more than one meaning to a word or set of words. We ask for clarification for that reason, as we have lost time in the past doing a request only to find the requestor was using slang. The request was for a "golden cork", no more detail. We just asked for clarification, and got the above question. We politely explained that a "golden cork" is a type of marble, and we had asked for details because of the multiple meanings. We found "ask any kid" to be somewhat rude as we are providing a free service, and found the follow up email to be very demanding and unapologetic, so the request was filed into the refused bin. This question is placed in the newsletter as an example of why details are very important when making a request. We love requests and we love positive feedback or constructive criticism, but we don't like being insulted. ----------------------------------------------- 6. Sites with our Clipart!!!
