Dear Newsletter-Subscriber: This is our 16th newsletter and we are glad you could be part of it. Email us if you have a site with our clipart on it, and you will be featured below! So onto what you are interested in: NEWS UPDATES! 1. Site news --------------------------------- Free Money from Clips Ahoy! We have a monthly draw in which we draw a name from our active subscribers. Why? Because we appreciate your interest in our site. Active subscriber is the key word though, if we draw someone that is listed as unsubscibed we have to draw again. If the winner doesn't notify us of their address before the newsletter after they are announced, we will throw them back into the hat and announce someone else in the next newsletter. Draw is the first newsletter of each month. (What? the winner is listed somewhere in this issue!!!) You should note that we are not publicly displaying the win $20 note at this time, but that we still doing the draw. She should take the opportunity to email us as soon as she can and tell us her mailing address so we can mail her a cheque. You should email us from the account you get this newsletter from. Remember, we will draw someone else if you don't contact us before next newsletter is sent out. Q: I am going around in circles and can't find any clipart, how many times do I have to click to enter? A: I apologise to anyone who was been led around in circles by any free clipart sites while trying to find clipart. While I can't speak for other sites, we have tried to place links to other sites in a fair yet remaining competative format. We try to make where our clipart is as visible as we can. For example, our categories are labelled in bold letters "Ahoy! Main Categories". When going to other sites, reading the links will generally indicate that it is another website that the link leads to. Our most questionable link would be on our main page that says "Click to Enter Free Clip Images". This indicates that if you click you will enter A website called free-clip-images.com. There is lots of other stuff to look at surrounding that link, and even scrolling a touch down will reveal the bolded "Ahoy! Main Categories" title. Another thing that we have made sure to include on our site, is that a new window will spawn when going to someone's else's site. So you can always close that window to once again find us in the background. To get our clipart, the only time you would have to click to enter is if you came from someone else's website to clipsahoy.com on our security page. If bookmark us by pressing control-D, you will never have to click to enter again. Again, I am sorry if we accidentally sent you in circles, but if you found us because someone tricked you into coming to us, then I am sure glad to see you, and will help you find what you need :) One can even jump our main page altogether, by using the links in our new clipart section of this newsletter. Since they are direct links, you don't even get a pop up window when you leave the site. It is our belief that we are one of the more user friendly clipart sites, but we do have to link to other sites for them to link to us. ----------------------------------------------- 6.
